The new year is just one day old, but we're already gagging about all the great stuff that's coming in 2015. From new TV shows and movies to more marriage equality and a certain campaign announcement, it's gonna be a hell of a year!

15. HBO Go becomes available as a standalone service

Back in October, HBO announced it would offer standalone subscriptions to its streaming service, meaning folks who ditched their cable boxes can binge-watch The Comeback, Enlightened, Game of Thrones and Veep. Say goodbye to your social life.


14. Hilary Clinton officially announces her campaign for president

Granted, this one is more of a prediction than a fait accompli, but all signs point to Hillary throwing her hat in the ring. Even if she did fake us out with her recent "announcement."


13.  Adele releases a new album

Another educated guess, but we've been promised new material from the "Rolling in the Deep" singer for more than a year now.

Her  label, XL Recordings, put the kibosh on a new record in 2014, so we're confident we'll hear something in the new year. Please, Adele—we can't stand waiting anymore!


12. Todrick Hall comes to MTV

Todrick Hall, the triple threat who brought us hilarious YouTube parodies like "Beauty and the Beat” and “Twerking in the Rain” is giving viewers a chance to see how he makes is magic with Todrick, a new unscripted series coming toMTV this year.


11. We get more Game of Thrones

Finally, we'll get to hear someone besides the mail guy declare they are Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons.


10. Pitch Perfect 2 hits theaters

Anna Kendrick might be dazzling audiences in Into the Woods, but she returns to her glee club roots on May 15, when Pitch Perfect 2 comes to the big screen. The Barden Bellas go global as they enter an international singing competition that no American team has ever won.

Joining Kendrick in the high anticipated sequel (directed by Elizabeth Banks, no less) are Skylar Astin, Rebel Wilson, Adam DeVine, Brittany Snow and newcomer Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit).


9. Rebel Heart drops

Most of Madonna's upcoming album has leaked online, but we eagerly await the finished product in March. And maybe, a tour, too?


8. Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters

The trailer for the seventh installment in the Star Wars saga nearly broke the Internet—can the actually movie be anything less than watershed moment in pop culture?


7. Billy Eichner stars in Difficult People

After stealing the Emmys, one of the funniest men in show biz is finally getting his due with a new Hulu series produced by Amy Poehler and written by Julie Klausner, who co-stars. The show focuses on two best friends in New York whose behavior often lands them in hot water. (Think Curb Your Enthusiasm meets Will & Grace.)


6. Classic musicals return to Broadway

Some tried-and-true gems are returning to the Great White Way in the new year, including anticipated revivals of Fiddler on the Roof, Gigi, the King and I,  Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, An American in Paris and Dames at Sea.

One show we're particularly excited about is the Tony winning On the Twentieth Century, about a struggling Broadway producer (Peter Gallagher) who pursues his movie-star ex (Kristin Chenoweth) aboard a luxury train.


5. Cucumber and Banana come to Logo

Coming to Logo later this year, the newest creations from Russell T. Davies (Doctor Who, Queer as Folk) explore two generations of queer folk in modern-day Manchester—and remind us that not all gay men look like the guys from Looking.


4. Avengers: Age of Ultron arrives in theaters

The next big piece of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is unveiled on May 1. We're excited to see all the action and drama—and if Captain America or Thor happen to have a shirtless scene, well, we're not gonna complain.


3. Broad City returns to Comedy Central

BFFs Abby and Illana return on January 14 with more twentysomething hilarity and stoner hijinks—plus some major-league celebrity guests.

2. Marriage equality comes to more states

We don't want to put the cart before the horse, but 2015 could be the year the Supreme Court makes marriage equality the law of the land across all 50 states. At the very least, same-sex couples will be able to wed in Florida starting January 6.
