Cynthia Nixon's hitting her Prime onstage in NYC!

This week (starting Wednesday) out actress Cynthia Nixon hits the stage in a revival of the classic teacher tale, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Remember Maggie Smith in the movie, spouting wittily wicked lines like, “For those who like that sort of thing, that is the sort of thing they like.” Har! Go Miranda!

Cute Brit Sean Maguire plays the lead gay character Kyle on The Class. Hurrah!

Speaking of telling tales out of school, the new CBS sitcom, The Class, which debuts tonight boasts an openly gay character, and then some. Our pals at AfterElton have all dish on the show and its gays.

And there’s gay news from all over...

Those nice gay dudes in the Spanish Air Force got married this weekend! Andy’s got good pics and a wrap-up.

That Jerusalem Gay Pride Parade is gonna take place, after all! In November. Mazel tov!

Berlin loves its gay mayor! He wins again in a landslide... Meanwhile, neo-Nazi factions are still active in Northern Germany...

And British author Sarah Waters (she wrote Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith, both of which were turned into films, and have aired on Logo) is up for the Booker Prize, for her latest, The Night Watch. It explores the lives of several lesbian, gay and straight characters in 1940’s London. Blimey!
