Jacob & Joshua: Just chillin'... while the buzz builds.

So, the gay-twin musical duo of Logo’s upcoming series Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising are getting more press. (Um... And the show hasn’t even started airing yet! Crazy!) There’s a big splashy feature interview with the pair in the current issue of The Advocate (the one with Nip/Tuck doc-stud Julian McMahon all damp on the cover), which is pretty fun to read.

In the piece, the two began their interview with some sibling bickering, which is evidently their trademark. Here’s the first exchange:

Advocate: What was your dynamic like growing up in Montana. Were the two of you competitive?

Joshua: There was no need for us to be competitive because I don’t think Jacob has won a sport against me, ever, and he never will.

Jacob: We never played sports—what are you talking about?

Joshua: We always played! Tennis, which I always beat you at, racquetball, at racing I was faster...

Jacob: Just because in fifth grade he beat me at the 500-yard dash, now all of a sudden he’s better than me in all sports, which is absolutely not true. He’s better at playing than I am because he plays it all the f*cking time. I don’t have time... I’m the one who drives this boat forward while he sleeps and plays.

And that’s just the beginning! Totally entertaining quibbling aside, the two discuss their decision to come out, dealing with their Jehovah’s Witness family, and their gay relationships with other people. It’s fun. FYI: The series debuts on Logo on October 16th. And right now the duo’s new music video for their single “#1 in Heaven” is #1 on Logo’s top ten video show, The Click List. The tune is a fizzy piece of pop sassiness. Watch it for yourself and weigh in...
