Size Matters: Best in Short Film 2!

It's Sarang, it's so right! The women of Sarang Song.
I know your time is precious. You’re always rush, rush, rush—nonstop! So you appreciate things that are brief and to the point; things that reward you promptly with instant gratification. Fortunately, Logo’s got some movies for you to watch, that will fit the bill nicely.
Earlier this year, Logo hosted a crazy-popular Best in Short Film event on the channel, in which viewers got to vote on which hot short films were the best of the bunch (the big winner was the smart Cinderella tale, Little Black Boot). The whole thing was a big fat success, with thousands of folks heading online to vote for (and watch) oodles of really great, sharp, intense queer-themed films (some a couple minutes long; some more like half-an-hour), suddenly shedding light on lots of new emerging filmmakers.
And it’s time for more! Yep, on October 3rd, the second season of cute (or creepy or comical or crazily clever) shorts will begin airing every Tuesday at 10pm EST on Logo. And likewise, new films will be added every week on LogoOnline, where you can also watch them, and vote for your fave.
To get you primed there are three shorts already up online, so check ’em and get a taste of what’s to come. Sarang Song is a 1970's love story between two women who are student protestors. Can love and civil disobedience (and some serious ’fro action) mix? The film Night Swimming is a tender tale of guy crushing on a guy; they hit the road, their car breaks down—and then things get complicated. And Perfect Filtration is a kind of hilarious, sort of gross-out mix of a slasher flick/comedy, where in two guys face off with a creepy Jason-esque killer on Halloween. Recycling may take on a whole new meaning!

From Night Swimming: What do two guys do when their car breaks down in the woods?

In Perfect Filtration: These dudes get into to some bloody Halloween trouble.

And I can't even tell you what this guys does...

"Hey, revolutionaries need love, too!" The cool cats of Sarang Song.
Check ’em out. See the work of the next generation of awesome queer filmmakers! And rate each one you watch. Come December 12th, all of the season’s top -anked shorts will be revealed...
