Jacob & Joshua: Premiere Party & Live TRL Action!

Joshua (in front) and Jacob arrive at their premiere party at Splash in NYC on Sunday night. Hi guys!

I’m not sure I can write much more about those nice pop-music-making gay twins of Nemesis, Jacob and Joshua Miller. But that’s okay because their big new Logo reality show, Jacob & Joshua: Nemesis Rising premiered last night on Logo. There are more airings all this week, so you can check it out for yourself. This past Sunday night they attended a big premiere party for the show at Splash bar here in NYC. And then yesterday afternoon, the pair were on TRL (for real!), stopping by the MTV studios here in NYC to shmooze and groove with Vanessa and the kids.

And here are some fun pics documenting all of this! First came Sunday's premiere party, with Jacob and Joshua in attendance, as well as lots of other party people. Suffice it to say the event was super sassy. Also on hand were Amanda Bearse, out lesbian actor/director (remember her from Married With Children?), who's also directing Logo's upcoming sketch comedy show, the aptly titled The Big Gay Sketch Show (Yep, that's the one exec produced by Rosie O'Donnell). Some of the cast members were on hand at the party too, and they're a very fun bunch.

And we've also got some backstage shots from TRL yesterday. And yes, Jacob & Joshua had their reality show crew on-hand, too, trailing their every move.

Jacob's boyfriend, Nick, arrives. Hi Nick!

Folks from Logo's forthcoming "Big Gay Sketch Show": writer Becky Drysdale, director Amanda Bearse and performer/comic Julie Goldman.

Bearse and some friendly guys, who just happened to be at the party... They're rehearsing a number, or something? Maybe?

Amanda Bearse AGAIN, this time with Logo folks Eileen Opatut and Nancy Bennett. Fresh!

More of the "Big Gay Sketch" people: this time it's Julie Goldman with fellow sketcher Stephen Guarino. Go kids!

Big Gay Sketch Show cast member Erica Ash. Love her! But watch out for those shirtless bartenders in the background!

And for the big finish? A shirtless Joshua! Thanks, folks!

NEMESIS ON TRL (well, backstage really)

Like I said, Jacob & Joshua were featured guests on TRL yesterday, showing up to meet the teen masses, chat with Vanessa Minillo about their new show and about being twins, and just to sass it up.

And here are my super-exclusive backstage photos...

450x300_img_0041
See, look! It's Jacob and Joshua flanked by Vanessa Minnillo and Damian Fahey on a sofa. Cozy, eh?

Someone's all ready for his close-up.

450x300_img_0024
Joshua's just chillin' and relaxed. Shouldn't he be nervous, or something? Eat some fruit and veggies, why don't ya?

And there they are, chatting up Vanessa, thronged by teenyboppers on the big TRL. Nice!

This was one party I wouldn't have missed for anything. What a premiere party, what a night, what a performance...WOW. SPLASH was filled with fans, VIP's, of course, but best was NEMESIS. They performed Hot Child In The City, so appropriate...they were HOT!

did anyone see them on TRL? it's great that they got on there, but what's up with the guys dressing up as cheerleaders right before they went on? is that supposed to be some kind of smooth transition into the gay segment of the show?

Tom Beech

Was wondering what happened to Jacob and Joshua Miller if they are still producing more songs.
