Norman Mailer Goes Gay! Really! (Okay, Fictitiously, But Still…)

Perhaps Norman Mailer is imagining some "bounteous" German buttocks?
Norman Mailer’s latest book, The Castle in the Forest, is an imagined version of the youth of Adolph Hitler. But that’s not all, folks… For the first time ever, the notoriously macho/surly man's-man author Mailer has included some gay action in the pages (very authoritatively voiced, one might add). No, it’s not young Adolph getting it on, same-sex-style. It’s his older brother who gets frisky with a guy.
Included in the juicy pink prose are lines like “happy blood-filled organ” and a rear end described as a “bounteously endowed temple.” Woo-hoo!
Does this mean Mailer and Gore Vidal might find a common ground over which to kiss and make up after decades of feuding?
Errrr… Don’t count on it.
