Just Jack = Just Right

Just Jack: Studious, cute and Britpop-tastic.
You may remember Just Jack from his first album, "The Outer Marker" and his cool video for the tune "Snowflakes" which sampled The Cure, and which made the rounds on MTV last year. Just Jack -- not to be confused with the one-man show originated by Jack McFarlane on Will & Grace -- is back, having released his second album in England late last year. The album's most recent single, "Starz in their Eyes," was a bonafide hit across the pond peaking at #2 on the pop charts in February, after it was premiered on BBC2's Later With Jools Holland. Remixes of the single, a yummy upbeat confection that sounds like the pop love child of The Streets' Mike Skinner and Robbie Williams, were recently uploaded to Just Jack's official website (along with news that a third single, "Glory Days," will be released next month). The Boss Boss remix brings a tinge of Fischerspooner to the song; it's the hottest of the three, although the Trophy Twins do a nice job as well on their track.
(And can you say a-dor-a-ble...?)

Just Jack is currently touring England and Europe. No word on him making a play for the U.S. charts as yet.
