News Buzz Bits: George Michael, Kathy Griffin, Mrs. McGreevey...

George Michael: Sweatin'... Because of his new court woes?

That monkey on George Michael's back? It might just be his new additional "driving while on drugs" charge which is being added to his court case that's pending -- that's for being on drugs. Oooof.

Jenna Bush, W.'s lovely daughter, is writing a book. And it's about an HIV-positive single mom. Which is good, right?

Jim McGreevey's estranged wife, Dina, has also written a book. (Scroll down on the link.) It comes out in May. It's about a soon-to-be single mom who married a politico who was secretly gay. Yup, it's her memoirs. And she is not amused. Think she and author Terry McMillan are gonna do lunch soon?

And Kathy Griffin wants to be Johnny Cash. Meaning, she offered her comedic performance services to the gay wing of the L.A. County Jail. They said no. Does getting turned down by a prison somehow take one lower than the D-list?

BOYCOTT THE EMMYS FOR KATHY GRIFFIN

The article I read this morning showS just how low of a channel E! has become in its pandering to those who seek to silence anywho who dare jokes about the "holy" religion. The media is supposed to allow expression of ideas for thought. Can't E! even allow a comedian to joke about God without cow-towing to the religious right. A person stupid enough to think that Kathy Griffin, A COMEDIAN-AND THIS IS EXTREMELY WORTHY OF MENTIONING, is going to do anything but a tastelful joke, which is what she is known for and why she won the Emmy after all, and E! should not be rewarded with our viewership because they are censors and care little about their viewers. I am going to spread the word to boycott the Emmy's on E! Let's see if E! is as outraged as the Catholic Leaque proclaims to be when E!'s sponsors start hearing of a boycott of the Emmy's because one small-minded organization found Kathy's joke "outreagous". How outraged will E!'s sponsors be if they find their sponsorship of E! is being voided by the studity of E! in your pandering to the Catholic League, who by the way, apparently doesn't represent any Catholics who have a sense of humor, INCLUDING KATHY GRIFFIN, a Catholic. What is this world coming to?
