Mutya Buena Is Getting "Real"
More news from the ex-Sugababe of the moment, Mutya Buena...
Her much-discussed 5-song sampler has been making the rounds over the past month, and the video for "Real Girl," the title track from her forthcoming full-length album, has now appeared. The Full Phatt-produced song -- a Motown throwback sampling Lenny Kravitz's early '90s hit "It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over" -- leaked out on the web this past week. It's catchy.
In addition to the aforementioned sugar-pop-insta-classic "Out of Control," the sampler features the soulful stand-out, "Just a Little Bit." Rounding out the quintet, "Strung Out" and "Wonderful" are less successful, and certainly less addictive than the other three, but overall, the sampler portends well for Mutya's solo debut.
The full album, which includes an Amy Winehouse duet entitled "B-Boy Baby," hits UK stores June 4th. The single officially releases on May 14th.

thanks for showcasing mutya.
i've loved this girl since her sugababes days... their just not the same without her.
and i love how she holds it down for us islanders.
'this is not real love' her duet with george michael, is so heart-wrenchingly beautiful... it just slays me every time i hear it.
can't wait to get the new solo effort.
