Britain’s Got Some Kind of Talent, Indeed...The Kit Kat Dolls Disqualification Scandal.

Kitkatdollsgroup_2

Even though they rocked the stage, judges disqualified the Kit Kat Dolls from BGT.

“Gimme a break,” legions of British viewers must have thought over the weekend when Britain’s Got Talent decided not to break itself off a piece of the Kit Kat Dolls. The group of nine transgender performers had been favorites to win the first season of BGT, the amateur talent competition on ITV created by Simon Cowell of American Idol fame.

Scowling Simon, upon seeing the Kit Kat Dolls perform this rendition of the Pussycat Dolls’ “Don’t Cha,” had gushed, “Great act. Love the attitude!”

Then came the allegations and the semi-finalist Kit Kat Dolls’ last-minute removal from the competition. It seems that Kit Kat Dolls’ lead singer Vanilla Lush, and members Alekssandra and Toni, are sex workers. Lush, in fact, offered to sell sex to a reporter from the tabloid that broke the story.

Kind of suspicious that a reporter would interact with the contestants this way, don’t cha think?

Were the KKD just too much for Simon to handle?

The Kit Kat Dolls’ plight was not the only blight on Britain’s Got Talent throughout its wildly popular daily run from June 9 through June 17. Earlier, an impressionist who quit the show was later revealed to be a registered sex offender. He claimed he departed because he injured his hand in an accident with his electric organ.

Paul Potts, a mobile phone salesman from South Wales, eventually won the competition on Sunday with this knockout operatic number. He beat out a six-year old singer and a man and his singing monkey in order to win the £100,000 prize and the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of Queen Elizabeth II.

But don’t feel bad for six-year-old Connie Talbot. She’s already been offered a seven-figure contract … by Simon Cowell.

Nat Udom ( a member of The Kit Kat Dolls )

My name is Nat Udom and I am a member of The Kit Kat Dolls.

After the news, We were VERY sad and crying to lose the GREAT opportunity to be something that the society would have accepted us more in the positive way. It was NOT fair on the honest working band members like myself and others who had worked SO hard to get there and then our dreams shattered by JUST one member. Those 2 members ( Toni and Alex ) had told us about their past and we accepted them because we believed that if we could improve the lives of Toni and Alex to be better then we ( as the human beings) definitely would do that. I personally think that every single one of us should give the opportunity to people who are less fortunate than the ones who are lucky, don’t you think? Every single one of us should learn how to love and care to others and willing to improve lives of some people to be better with what we can.

However, We were asking the ITV producers to let the rest of us ( 6 members ) to continue the show, but they refused us. We started to cry as soon as ITV producers said that the whole band had to be punished which was VERY unfair for the rest of the group. We live in the year of 2007 with democracy but we were treated with something which is NOT democracy.

PS: The Kit Kat Dolls are doing the big gig with spice girls ( unconfirm ) in the big club in central London. Please click the link below for more details.
