Yep, Logo’s gone all generous and is making the first five minutes of their upcoming animated series Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in All the World available to watch. Like, now! It’s right here (above), in fact.
Since I know people and all, I’ve seen a bunch of the episodes of the series, and I like it. It’s rude and perky and cute and wrong... Stereotypes get slammed a lot and made fun of, which is pretty much always festive. And it’s nice to see a show that mocks us homos on our own terms. And then some...

All the characters are pretty fun: the titular nice guys Rick & Steve, the lesbian couple Kirsten & Dana, but my faves are the pair Evan & Chuck, who are (respectively) a 19-year-old drug-popping party-boy twink and his 50-year-old wheelchair-bound, HIV-positive wise-ass boyfriend. They’re rude and dirty and adorable. And yep, AIDS-jokes get zinged around. And yet it’s all sweet and good-humored, somehow.

The show debuts on Tuesday, July 10th. Let’s hope it starts a bawdy buzz, too. Gay-land needs a bit of raw humor right about now...
How do i tell the creators of the Rick & Steve website how amazing of a job they did. The whole site is hillarious i visit it everyday and the need to see the real show just keeps building up. I can just tell it's gonna be one of my favorites shows. Although the way the site and logo explain the show it kinda reminds me of Queer As Folk. Sorta... You know, Rick and Steve (Micheal and Ben) Kirsten and Dana (Melanie and Lindsay) Evan and Chuck (Justin and Brian okay mayby not but you get my point)
Man, this show won't be coming soon enough. I can't WAIT!
