You Can't Argue - The VMAs Had Its Moments!

Rihanna and Kid Rock...both brought some life to the evening. Although Rihanna was a bit more professional.

The VMAs...Celebrity Heaven. I do love it - although this year's seemed a bit sloppy (I remember numbers getting cut off....Pamela Anderson not knowing when to talk...not being able to hear Pete Wentz...), and it was almost...claustrophobic at times.

And, of course, there was Britney...

But it was certainly memorable! I was personally a huge fan of Chris Brown and Rihanna's number. I've always liked Chris, but I never knew he was capable of this level of performing - so good job!

More videos and recap after the jump!

Jamie, Jen and Nicole...soakin' in some Vegas culture.

Alicia Keys was a nice note of professionalism for the evenings festivities, no?

Too bad...as you probably know....Kid Rock and Tommy Lee had it out during her number.

And...

I'm sorry. I'm still upset about Britney.

I've been trying to collect information on what exactly was wrong...because something was wrong. For some reason, I can't accept that she just didn't care or that she was just hung over. In my blog-browsing, I've heard:

1. She heard what Sarah Silverman was going to say about her and started crying right before her performance.

2. Her stiletto heel broke.

3. The Palms cut the magic element right before the show for insurance reasons and/or she was pissed at Criss Angel.

I should stop obsessing...I guess I need to mourn a little longer. But Britney herself isn't helping me get over this: She decided to flash the box - again! Not that I would ever link to that.
