2007 Holiday Gift Guide: Coolest Bike Ever!
Look, I'm stunned. "A bike? For me? Gasp!"
Not only is Vinny a godsend for bringing me the Rock Band game this holiday season (see above), he almost takes it up a notch even further by giving me the present every kid dreams of this time of year: A bitchin’ new bike!
And this bike is the super-stylin’, tech-savvy Lime Bike by the folks at Trek. It’s got disc brakes and automatic shifting! And it just looks hot. But watch the video and you’ll see more...
Cute bike pics after the jump, too!
Find out more about the Trek Lime Bike coolness at their website. Now, where do I get a cute basket for this thing?
Yes, I even promise to wear a helmet. Can I keep it!!!?????
I cannot believe you guys chose a Trek bike as the coolest bike of the season. The bike's concept is great, but do gay people need to cruise around on the same kind of bike as George W.There are other cruisers out there just as fantastic.Check out Kona Bikes or Gary Fisher, both american made but not tainted.

Barbee -- Thanks for the comment. I didn't know W was partial to the Trek Bike as well (but a quick search brought up several news references about it). Ummm... Weird. I'm no fan of the President's AT ALL, but it still doesn't make me hate the Trek bike. However, I'm glad you pointed this out.
I'll happily check out the Kona and Gary Fisher bikes, too. Frankly, the more people on bikes in general, the better things will be for the planet, our health, etc.
And check out this cool group of queer riders in Colorado:

Cheers & Happy Holidays! Ride on, Barb!!!

Gary Fisher bikes is owned by Trek.
George W does ride a Trek and that sucks. But, if Trek is the largest American bicycle company...who else would W go to? I think that there are enough cool people on Treks that one clown shouldn't ruin it for the rest of us. Wisconsin congresswoman and lesbian, Tammy Baldwin rides a Trek too, so there!
