Lily Allen Should Have Taken That Pregnancy Test Before Her Marie Claire Interview

I couldn't really care about Lily Allen getting pregnant, what with all the Jamie Lynn juiciness going on at the same time (you know Lily's pissed about that, by the way; she could at least be getting some press out of this bull sh*t!), but - shocker - Lily wasn't planning on a baby.

She told Marie Claire in their February issue - apparently unaware she was pregnant - that she didn't want to have a baby for two to three more years and was only casually seeing her baby's father, Chemical Brothers' singer, Ed Simons. Whoops! Good thing Lily Allen doesn't care about such things; or else her publicist must be on the phone with Marie Claire a lot lately.
In the upcoming issue of Marie Claire, the reporter asked Lily about her desire to have children...
"People are having kids too young and nothing's being done about it...I want to have a child. If I was in the right relationship, I'd like to have child in about two or three years' time. I'd like to be a young mother, although not too young, and I'd like to be able to live in a nice place that's got a good catchment area for the schools."

Well, it looks like Ed Simons just turned into the "right relationship," huh? And since she didn't know she was pregnant at the time, Lily must have been cool with this little admission...
"Because I smoke so much, I feel like I might have a heart attack soon." [Note: Lily is said to have quit smoking after finding out she was pregnant.]
On drinking: "I've actually gotten really into drinking in the daytime now. [Laughs] No, I went up to the Cotswolds and had a pint at 11:30 a.m. You know, I stuck my Barbour on and walked down to the pub. There was no one there. Just me. I sat outside in the garden reading the paper with my pint. It's such a good lifestyle."

Well, I hope you enjoyed it while you had it, Lily. God, I love how honest she is; Lily had this to say, on her offers to start her own line of maternity wear (from whom, by the way?)...
"I've had a lot of offers from people to do my own maternity range but I don't think it is the right message to send to young Britain. I'm not the best example. I'm pregnant and a bit young, aren't I? My demographic is generally young girls, so I don't think a maternity line is suitable. It isn't the best impression to give them."

Hey, don't forget your gays, Lily; they're basically the same demographic. ...and I still love you! But - uh - you could start making music again sometime soon.
Yay! Preggers or smoking or whatever, she looks fab in these pics. Classy, but still cheeky and slightly rowdy. And she's still so young... I love how outspoken she is, but she'll get a little smarter in time before mouthing off every other second. But whatevs. Go Lil!!!!!
