New Sugababes "Denial" Video!

You may know I love the Sugababes, especially "About You Now," and the British power-trio are onto single Number 2 from their new album, Change.

The refrain in "Denial" makes me think of TLC; they ain't un-pretty! As far as the video, the gals said Vogue magazine inspired them; yeah, I can see that. But does the fashion industry really have anything to do with this song, girls?

So this whole video is definitely the girls living out their fantasies of being models. Good thing I like the song so much. I just hope they didn't take this too seriously; I mean, the playing-cards hat? I'd like to see them playing actual characters in their videos one day, instead of just looking as hot as possible.

I didn't know newest member, Amelle Berrabah, was such a tough HBIC, though; she went to jail for kicking some 18-year-old girl's ass on a dance floor. Damn! And last Christmas Eve, some wacko attacked her sometimes-rapist boyfriend with a machete in the middle of the street - and I think there's more. Jeez, I need to catch up on my Amelle gossip; she sounds great!
