Superstars in Talks to Stage World Peace Concerts

If ever there was an occasion tailor made for Madge to sing “Holiday,” this sounds like it!
As reported today by New Music Express, a non-profit group is in talks with major artists like Madonna, Led Zeppelin, Justin Timberlake and U2 to present a series of concerts in different locations this spring focused on bringing world peace.
Um, what took them so long?
"Put your troubles down, turn this world around, and bring back all of those happy days" ... after the jump!
Organized by World Peace One, a group that includes some veteran Live Earth and Woodstock executives, the concerts are scheduled to begin on May 17. Performances would take place in Beijing, Istanbul, London, Johannesburg, Miami, the United Arab Emirates, Portugal, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and India.
What, has New York lost that much clout? Or even with the dollar in a port-a-potty, is the place still that damned expensive as a concert destination?
Shows aside, World Peace One reportedly also plans to launch education and government initiatives as part of a 10-year-campaign to bring peace. Other acts in talks with the organization include Timbaland, adult-compatible Celine Dion and Lionel Richie, and oldies but goodies, INXS and ZZ Top.
Hi
My name is Duffy Gorski and I am the co-founder of the We Want World Peace Organization (WWWPO) established in Alpena MI USA. We have a plan for World Peace. We know what we are – human beings, who think and react from the - who we are – members of a society with a belief structure. We must learn to think from the - what we are - so we can see that we are all humans with the same desires thus allowing each their space as - who they are. I would like to bring you attention to our organizations plan and challenge for World Peace through a system of international law based on human rights driven by the people of the world without influence from Governments, Corporations and Religions. Please go to our website read our plan, register and take the challenge.
The $100,000.00 challenge is a win, win, win challenge because everyone in the world wins. 1. The person or group that submits a better plan then ours wins the $100,000.00 and the world wins a better plan then the We Want World Peace Organization’s. 2. The world wins because there is a plan for a system of international law based on human rights. 3. The We Want World Peace Organization wins because our goal to raise the awareness of World Peace trough a system of international law and order based on human rights is met and the world has a our plan or the winner’s plan.
Love, Peace and God Bless
