Mariah Carey E=MC2 Album Cover

And that's all I needed. I was getting so upset with terrible album covers lately, but Miss Mariah Carey turned it out for me. This cover doesn't even look expensive, you record labels; it just actually kind of looks good. E=MC2 comes out April 15 via Island and features the single you've probs heard by now "Touch My Body," in addition to one called "Migrate," which I'm not feeling as much.

So yeah, Mariah and Photoshop are old friends, but I think this cover looks fierce ... or do you think it's no better than the albums I've been complaining about?

I think it looks terribly uninspired and dull. The pink type and font makes it look cheap and too busy. Why didn´t they just leave it at E=MC2, everyone knows who it is.

And I wish she would move on and try edgier things for her album covers.

This is the first album cover from a pop diva that I've seen in ages that doesn't look terrible or cheap...

Personally, I think it's quite classy. The concept is simple and it's nicely executed. The pink text with her name plays nicely off of the B&W photo.

I agree (with some of you) without the MARIAH it would have looked great. There's still time to make changes.

and this is to WILLIAM - mariah doesnt suck, btw madonnas vocals are nothing to mariahs and whats with madonna? nearly 50 and doing all those flexible things YUK! i'd hate to be her kids in 20 years and say that was my mom!

I like the cover alot... she looks so good and the album title is very special... but the way her name is written (the font) makes the album look so regular and simple...

I think I agree with heph. Yeah she doesn't have to put her name on.. Everyone knows her so much... For example like madonna's hard candy cover.. it only display Hard candy.. and madonna represent herself... but btw.. this cover looks OK for me.. simple and classy... but i think we shouldn't judge something by it's cover...

When everyone was still guessing on what the album's name would be and what the cover would look like, a cover floated around where it was her chest being covered by a big hat, and her name in her signature font, and the name "That Chick" written in another font never used before. When the official cover came out, I liked it, but I didn't like it at the same time. I have enough of her albums to know that she had a signature font. What happened to her signature font? And why is it colored? The posing reminds me of The Emancipation of Mimi.
