Lily Allen Posts New Demos "I Don't Know" & "I Could Say" on MySpace

Lilyallen

Yaggo yo, peoples? - just to quote Miss Lily ... she's got new material for us! I probably love Lily Allen more for personality and her blog rants than for her actual Alright, Still... album, but I was still psyched to get some new music from her.  Despite personal setbacks and new blond hair - god, if one more celebrity does this - Lily posted some new demos on her MySpace.

And they sound totally different! I think summertime, bouncy-with-an-edge when I think Lily, but these two songs are straight-up synth-pop. For "I Don't Know," Lily takes on a Hollywood persona of "everything's cool as long as I'm getting thinner," and since she's "packing plastic, her life is f*cking fantastic." But I actually prefer "I Could Say," which is dreamy and almost techno-y to me - and Lily sings about dropping her too-cool-for-school BF. But try 'em out yourself ... whaddya think of Lily's new sound?

And catch her full blog post and latest music video after the jump...

Nothing too scandalous, but...

"So , I'm a blondie and loving it and I've been working hard in the studio . I posted a couple of new songs on the player for you all to have a listen to and get an idea of my new direction , they are just at a demo stage so don't be too hard on them . I'll probably swap some others around and play you stuff as I do it in the studio , like i did last time round . And ther'll also be a new mixtape soon , I hope you enjoy this shizzle"

She also gave big ups to Leona Lewis in a previous entry. Hmm...

And OK, this may not be her most recent video - and she's a cartoon - but I like it, so here we go...
