Video Lunch: The Hush Sound - "Honey"
I'm further reminded I love Pete Wentz's taste - among other things about him - as Chicago quartet The Hush Sound is signed to his Decaydence label. See? I did have an excuse to bring him up.
Anyway, the crew has a new album, Goodbye Blues, which differs from previous endeavors, So Sudden and Like Vines, in that Greta Salpeter has pretty much taken over vocals. Her sweet voice and perky melodies combo-ed with the indie, piano rock make for a cool, blues-y sound; peeps are digging it.
For the "Honey" video, the men - P.S. At least one of them has got to be gay - tempt Greta in various areas - and colors. Money, love and fame? They'll be the death of her!
In the mood for some more Decaydance band videos I like? Check 'em out after the jump.
Cobra Starship - "City Is at War"
Panic at the Disco - "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies"
Fall Out Boy - "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race"
