Watch Avril Lavigne "Best Damn Thing" - Her Worst Damn Video!

 

You guys! Jeez, Avril - I loved "Girlfriend" as much as the next gay, but you are really pushing it with this one.

I actually never listened to Ms. Lavigne's The Best Damn Thing album's title track and fourth single, but it's the girliest throwaway track I have ever heard. ...And I have seriously-low standards when it comes to that!

 

 

Avril references a random girl - who's not like her, OK?! - and rocks out to boys not being chivalrous enough.

 

Yeah, what can I say about Avril and her blank stare anymore? It also looks like she might not be taking herself seriously anymore ... I'm not sure if that makes me like her more or less. ... Avril and I have such a love-hate.

Well, how about a recent Avril video I actually liked? It didn't get loads of attention, but I'm a fan of previous Best Damn Thing single, "Hot." There's something about Avril's doll-like presence and appearance  that kind of works for me in this burlesque character...
