TV Guide's Sexiest Stars: Who's on Top?

-- the linster from AfterEllen.com

I watch Ghost Whisperer and I'm not ashamed to admit it. OK, a little embarrassed, maybe, but we all have our guilty pleasures. And even though Jennifer Love Hewitt is, at times, a bit too earnest for me, I can think of many reasons why she tops TV Guide 's "Sexiest Stars" list this year. Here are two.

What? I'm talking about her eyes. Hewitt might not be No. 1 on my list — at least not while Tina Fey is on TV — but I am tickled that she can flaunt her sexy status to the paps that trashed her for looking less-than-perfect in a bikini last year. Somehow, the fact that she didn't need to be on the list to know she's sexy makes her topping it even better.

Comedian Demetri Martin to Play Gay Lead in Ang Lee's Taking Woodstock?

-- snicks from AfterElton.com

Last week, I blogged about Taking Woodstock, the upcoming biopic of Elliot Tiber, the gay man who was instrumental in bringing the music festival to fruition. Well, it seems that Academy Award-winning Brokeback Mountain director Ang Lee has chosen a leading man, and in a surprising decision, it's stand up comedian (and Beatles-tressed) Demetri Martin. (Martin is currently in negotiations, so nothing's signed yet.)

Madonna & Justin Timberlake Tell MTV About "Intimate" Hard Candy Collabo

That lucky John Norris! ... OK, I guess he's paid his dues. He spoke with Madonna and with Justin after their - also "intimate" - Wednesday New York concert - which I can't shut up about even though I wasn't there.

It's totes adorable to hear Madonna and Justin recall the time they spent together working on Hard Candy - but now I'm wondering what a "shrink session" with Madonna would be like ... I feel like I'd be terrified and then she'd just smack me and knock me off the sofa ... and then I would love it. Weird, right?

And - Madonna addresses the Miley Cyrus "controversy" for MTV after the jump...

Lee and Marc got a sneak peek at the upcoming Speed Racer live-action movie and headed out to the Brooklyn Museum for the Murakami exhibit. They also find out what Battlestar Galactica, Lost and Margaret Cho's blog have in common.

Check it out after the break!

Meet The Supergirlfriends of Summer

-- Dorothy Snarker from AfterEllen.com

They say behind every great man is a great woman. While we AfterEllen.commers might take issue with that first gender, the saying definitely holds true in the to big-budget superhero movies coming soon to a theater near you. In fact, USA Today recently interviewed the trio of Gwyneth Paltrow, Liv Tyler and Maggie Gyllenhaal, or — as I like to call them — the supergirlfriends of summer.

The Ones "When We Get Together" Video: Gays, Gays & More Gays

So many done-up, gay artistes in one studio! Step ... away ... from the baby oil. The "Flawless" New York music trio The Ones - we love Nashom, Jojo and Paul here at NNN.com, of course - released its debut, self-titled album earlier this year, and "When We Get Together" is the group's latest single.

Not like Confessions on a Dance Floor, but it's just as gay: The video is so loaded with gay cameos/friends of the group, I don't know where to begin. The Ones know how to have fun with their friends, and what's more fun than getting oiled up and eye-f*cking the camera? Everyone loves that - and everyone's so shiny!

So you can't miss Debbie Harry, but I also spot porn-star-turned-singer Colton Ford, rapper Cazwell, "the real" Ari Gold ... Scissor Sisters. Hmm ... Johnny McGovern?
