"S-T-A-M-P Your Feet" for the New Donna Summer Video

Okay, so I have my own confession on the dancefloor to make. In the burgeoning Duel of the Maturing Divas, I'm much more excited about the new Donna Summer album, Crayons, than I am about Madonna's Hard Candy. In my opinion, the nearly 50-year-old Material Girl has sweetly secreted loads of what's disappointing about commercial pop these days, while Summer, who reaches her own milestone of 60 years old this December, injects some soulful authenticity into her first original music in 17 years.
Judging from readers' reactions to news about the new Summer album last month, my humble assessment might find some supporters here. For more proof, check out the new video for Donna's "Stamp Your Feet," a smash that ought to handily become this season's Pride anthem.
No doubt Summer's going to be busy soon with her tour, but wouldn't it be interesting if the Queen of Disco shows up at a pier dance in June?
I don't know what your problem is about madonna by her album rocks !!!! it is one of her best albums ever. As for Donna summer's I luv Donna summer's and I can't wait for a new album

I have love for all the divas. Must we constantly compare or have "duels." There's enough for everyone....

Donna has a much more powerful voice than Madonna. This Summer belongs to Summer, The Dance Diva!

It's good to know that the "First Lady Of The Dance Floor" is back!
I hope this time everybody notices that she's much more than only the "Queen Of Disco".

I TOTALLY AGREE! DONNA SUMMER MAY NOT HAVE MADONNA`S PRODUCTION IN MANY WAYS BUT SHE HAS FAR SUPERIOR VOICE!!! IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, HER ALBUM IS BETTER TOO!

Donna Summer voice is ageless, she gets better and better like a fine wine. I have been fortunate to hear a few tracks from "CRAYONS", and it is PURE POP MUSIC HEAVEN! The dance tracks are KILLERS! This much anticipated release confirms "THE QUEEN IS BACK"!!!! Move over Madonna, Mariah, Celine....someone is about to claim her THROWN!

While I've bought Madonna's and Mariah's recent Cds ; nothing compares to the thrill of having a brand new DONNA SUMMER album coming in exactly a week.
Hope it's the 1st of many because the woman is a legend and now the world will finally see why we have been bowing to the Queen for over 30 years.

Donna is the original & true diva of dance/pop. I haven't been this excited about a CD release in many years.

I love both Donna and Madonna, and their music too. But I must say that I prefer the Crayons album to Hard Candy. The songs in Crayons are all well-produced, infectious, interesting, musically varied, and Donna's artistry and voice just brings magic to every song!!

Everyone needs to open their box of Crayons and get ready for a wonderful and very satisfying experience! Music's original bad girl is back with a vengence and she's hot stuff! The Queen is Back!

Just heard all of Crayons on VH1's "The Leak."
Be prepared for a global experience—shades of Summer never previously heard. She rocks. She rolls. She belts. She coos. It's about time that the world knew what Summer fans have known all along—she is the most underrated vocal talent on the pop landscape.
All hail. The Queen is definitely back!

MMMMMM.......
Hello everybody....
Well I'm agree with some comments, MaDoNNa and DoNNa SuMMeR both are too good.
MaDoNNa...yes she is a real show girl, her stage, her dancers, her dances, but....
DoNNa SuMMeR too, in a diferent way she don't need all of that 'cause she can full the stage only with her voice...!!!
She has the power only with sexy powerfull voice..!!
Both are tremedous...!!!!
But I love specially DONNA:!
Which are your opinion?
This SuMMeR 4 DoNNa...!!

Donna Summer is back, the album is going to be a listening pleasure. I wonder if the lame U.S. radio will prefering to play only Madonna's songs over Donna's. You guys want to listen now just go to

Ah, don't forget buy The Circuit City bonus track addition from Crayons!

I was always a casual fan.I know the woman's history due to my bf's Donna obsession {4U Kd ;-)} but the overall excitement is valid and Donna has come up with a new sound that doesn't betray her past as an artist.
So the summer's almost here and hope the world enjoys these new songs.
Peace.

Wonderful to hear Donna Summer once more.
The songs (as previewed on VH1) are top notch and we've been served a truly fabulous platter.
I would have been happy with anything (cover album/jazz/full-on dance music) but the varied album has me itching for next week.
Thank you Ms.Summer hope you're back for good this time around.
Love

May 14th.
My pulse is racing.
In less than 6 days,my world will be complete again.
At last! a new Donna CD will stand next to THE JOURNEY.
May your creative juices overflow and that you start recording as often as you can.Your fans have been missing you a whole lot.

I have listened to this new Summer album in total awe. It is a MASTERPIECE. She has truly outdone herself. This is going to be the sleeper hit of the Summer. Every song could be a huge hit in various formats if radio would play it, but who cares, I'll play it, and play it, and play it.....

Could be wrong, but I believe that the supposed link to Donna's new video is actually not the OFFICIAL video, but clips from her Electronic Press Kit. I'm sure the real video will be a bit more fun than this studio clip.

Can't wait! I'm a little disappointed there is no "real" video, but this will have to do. After all, Chaka is on the same label and apparently her video (videos?) was similar. "Stamp" is stamping and "I'm A Fire" burns. The other tracks are probably great as well.
