Jai Rodriguez Music Video "Broken" - Yes, Queer Eye Jai
I loved Culture Vulture Jai Rodriguez when he was on Queer Eye, and I always knew he had done Broadway - Rent, The Producers - but I never really thought he'd take on the recording artist thing. What happened to Groomer Has It? That's a full-time job!
Yes, Jai can definitely sing - in fact, if I closed my eyes, I would swear this was Clay Aiken; their album titles are even really similar ... queen fight! - but this is just ... OK, how long can you watch it without at least smiling? Test yourself. I went 10 seconds...
OH MY CHER! GO JAI!

Much better than Clay! Great voice...

Ok, this is rather annoying. Is there any way to clear the copyright restrictions so that we Canadians can also see these videos? Or is there an equivalent MTV.ca video link for us?

How long can I go without smiling?
Smiling from enjoyment? or smiling from embarrassment?
The worst part is all the pop-star posturing he's trying to pull off.

How could you not smile? Good music is supposed to make you smile, laugh...it can even (occasionally) break your heart. Jai's range is off the chain vocally...Mr. Aiken can't hold a candle. I'm glad Jai has returned to music... I can't wait to see (and hear) what's next!

VERY impressive range (vocally) and such a wonderful delivery. I knew Jai had a skill, but, this blew any preconceived notions out of the water!! Terrific and all-out amazing. And the video? Very indie-meets-chic!

I'm still remembering how great Jai's performance was in Zana Don't. I remember folks from the production telling me he had to leave for some cable makeover show.. my thought at the time? Puh-lease everyone has one of those. So in my opinion he was smart to take on that gig.. and now it's clear he'd be a fool notto go with the music. He's an exceedingly talented boi.
