Solange Knowles Interview With NewNowNext NOISE

I admitted I had some ideas about Solange Knowles back when I posted her new "I Decided" music video a few days back, but I'm kind of loving her now. Her Motown-gone-funky sound has some real innovation to it ... She's spunky!

Her sophomore album, SolAngel and The Hadley St. Dreams, comes out in August, and Solange spoke with NewNowNext about her electronica influences, her love of Bjork's fashion sense, dancing to Justice until her sandals bust, her decision to include social commentary in her video, gay marriage and writing a "fierce" track for the gay community.

I just want to let every gay person that visits this site know that regardless of what "Radical" Christians say Jesus still loves you and he understands you. He wants to embrace your live and share His love with you. Yes we do know that homosexuality is a sin, but put that knowledge away for a minute and just know that regardless of your choices Jesus still loves you and He died for you. Just give your life to Him, accept Him in your life and watch Him do exploits. Give up nothing but your heart and watch Him set you free. Remember if you were the only person on the planet He would've died just for you. It says in John 3:16 that "For God so loved the world..." Which means that God loved you before you were even thought of and He knows and understands. Jesus loves you and so do I. He's the only one who can fill the emptiness in your (or anyones) heart. I ask you this question "If you were to die today, right now, are you sure that you'd spend eternity in heaven? If your answer is no then I want you to be sure by saying these words. "Jesus I believe you are the Son of God. I believe you died on the cross and took sin in Your own body and paid the price for me. I ask You to forgive me of my sins and be my Lord and Savior. Thank you" It's that simple. If you prayed that prayer with me you are now God's precious son/daugther. Now don't allow anyone to judge you. Began to develop a relationship with God through His word (the Bible) and let Him lead and guide your life. Remember regardless of what people say Jesus loves you and He wills that no one perishes. I will pray for all who repeated this prayer with me. May God bless your life and may you go on to be a blessing to others :)
