Innerpartysystem Video - "Don't Stop"

 

It may start out like Anchorman, but this music video's hardly ... light-hearted. This Pennsylvania-based emo-electro band conveys a pretty strong disgust with fame. Now I'm all for making fun of news anchors - the two in this video are cheesy mouthpieces who devolve into bleeding, stripping, gagged monsters - but the foursome themselves get a little high-handed, maybe? I'm not with them when they just yell, Lies are entertainment!

But Innerpartysystem does kind of intrigue me now, including its confusingly-titled EP, The Download EP. The band's signed to Stolen Transmission, whose head kicked off My Chemical Romance and The Killers, so good things could be in store for the fame-haters...
