New Chromeo Video: "Momma's Boy"
Yikes - I'm starting to find Dave 1, real name David Macklovitch, kind of sexy ... That's bad, right? I know the "provocative" piano recline is supposed to be a joke. Although, Dave-y described this song as an "autobiographical Jew-boy ballad," and I don't find ruining relationships because you want every girl to be your mother particularly hot.
But, um, back to the music! The electro-pop duo that is Chromeo has such technical talent - and they're major influencers in music these days, judging from my interview experience: both Solange Knowles and Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship cited P-Thugg and Dave 1 as musical favorites.
