NewNowNext at The Trevor Project Summer Gala Red Carpet

The Trevor Project, an outreach and suicide prevention effort for gay youth, held its 8th annual summer gala earlier this month, and we at NNN.com were there to interview all the gay celebs before the event (which we didn't get to go to, natch).

But! We still loved chatting up the evening's host / America's Gaysian Sweetheart, Alec Mapa, as well as famously-engaged couple George Takei and Brad Altman, Trevor Hero Award recipient Alan Cumming ... and more!

The Trevor Project will also be hosting the New York premiere of Sordid Lives: The Series July 15. We'll be there ... since we're all about after-parties for a good cause.
