Christina Aguilera Keeps Gettin' Better - And Keeps Looking Like Lady GaGa!
So we've all discussed Christina Aguilera resembling a Lady GaGa drag queen lately, right? (Sorry, Christina; I know that was rough.) You just know our girl GaGa was pissed off after the VMAs. There was a magnanimous quotation floating around in which GaGa says she does not think Christina copied her - but it's probs a fake.
Anyway, Christina Aguilera's first greatest hits album, Keeps Gettin' Better - A Decade of Hits, comes out (only in Targets) November 11. New tracks include "Dynamite," the title track and re-recordings of "Genie in a Bottle" and "Beautiful."
Speaking of "Keeps Gettin' Better" - which I'm not feeling, by the way - watch X-Tina's VMAs performance versus a GaGa show and see just how similar these two really are...

Don't worry, GaGa - the gays know what's up.

Lady Ga Ga has it. Really there is a lot of depth to her. After rewatching the Lady Ga Ga performance I just realized that they had the Clockwork Orange Music going in the beginning. So pretty much Lady Ga Ga has a lot of influence and creativity.

That is such a lame comparison. The only thing similar between them is the hairstyle which is so unoriginal at this point and has been rocked by just about everyone at this point including Gwen Stefani on her last album. If you're gonna give someone credit it should at least be her even though she wasn't even the first, (Michelle Pheiffer in Scarface anyone?) I'm also kind of confused as to why people are acting like Lady Gaga's look is so original. Lady Gaga is cool but her image is completely stolen from a number of high profile artists like Grace Jones and David Bowie. Maybe because some people are too young to know who she is ripping off? I'm sorry but if anyone is being unoriginal here it is her. While I'm not the hugest fan of Xtina, at least that girl has some undeniable talent. It's also pretty clear from the her VMA performance that she was going for a superhero theme (hence the mask and the cape and the everyone dressed in superhero costumes...) I guess you would have to be pretty deft not to catch that but oh well. Christina has been around for ten years now and Lady Gaga would be lucky to have a career with half the longevity and half the success that Xtina has had.

I completely respect Christina's talent, but girl has been biting styles her entire career and rarely executes any of the well. I wish she would just choose an image and really commit to it. And Lady Gaga's look may not be original but to copy it right after she did it is poor form on Christina's part.
