Oh, Katy Perry - can we just "kiss and make up"? With all that Katy's had to live up to this year, and with ... mixed reviews of "I Kissed a Girl"'s message, Katy's personality's gotten lost for me - and I've always wanted more from her. Happily, someone took her new single, "Hot N Cold" - the best part about her One of The Boys debut - in the right (albeit Diesel-sponsored) direction. The awkwardness of the "I Kissed a Girl" video is but a happy memory!

The vengeful bride backup dancers are choice - as is that one hefty, male bridesmaid - and Katy's ambivalent groom is totally cute, even if he is beating me over the head with the cheekbones.

 

 

And as you can see, Katy graced the latest issue of Blender (don't start taking yourself seriously, Katy!), and an intro to the feature is online now. I enjoyed Katy admitting heavy makeup brings her, "two degrees from a drag queen!" and that, in her religious household growing up, "deviled eggs were called angeled eggs."
