Jamaican-born Tami Chynn's second album (due in the U.S. in spring '09) is called Prima Donna - yup, it's two words for Tami; she'll teach you how to say it, too - and it marks a major pop turn for a performer who made her name in Reggae and Jamaican house music.
But we're certainly welcoming Tami's new foray! Her single "Frozen" ft. Akon is paying off on the dance charts - and, as of late, she's been opening for New Kids on The Block. While Tami was in NYC, she stopped by Therapy for a fun chat with NNN.com: Tami talks about calling on a little Prima Donna confidence to make it a man's world, her crush on Jordan Knight and her own diverse and accepting upbringing.
