HBICs Joan Rivers and Kathy Griffin don't mess around. Plastic surgery is serious business to these ladies.
-- By Cory Stottlemyer
It's time for this weeks edition of "This Week In Fabulous!" There's lots of famous bitches in this post, so prepare yourself for some diva attitude. Plus it's my birthday, so this post is extra special!
5. Shakira's "She Wolf" music video premiere!
Cage dancing has never been so fierce!
Shakira is back! The music video for her single "She Wolf" is here, and I'm glad to say that her dancing is still as hot and sexy as ever. You can check out a short "making of" for the video here.
Watch the real deal premiere below!
More about musicals, models, Lindsay, Joan and Kathy after the jump!

Hey gays... Madonna's new single (the title track) from her greatest hits collection, "Celebration" is on da web. Have a listen via Perez!
I'm thinking it's very 1995, techno, Danceteria... And it reminds me of "Get Together" from Confessions, but more sparse-sounding. Perhaps it'll grow more interesting with further listens? Maybe the video will sell it? I like the breezy, dance party vibe, but is it a little sterile?
Nathaniel is noted for being the first boy band member to be openly gay from the start. And he's really cute. I have a new favorite boy bander! Photo courtesy of Leon Le.
--By Cory Stottlemyer
Nathaniel Flatt, a member of the boy band V Factory, recently chatted with me about how he became a boy-bander, being open about his sexuality, and he even dishes about the other group members!
Have you always wanted to be a performer?
Yeah, like ever since I was probably 4 or 5. I remember seeing a show with my family. I saw Peter Pan and I got the bug I guess you could say. I'm the youngest of 4 and I’m the attention-starved kid of the family.
Are there any other performers in your family?
You know what, it’s just me. It’s funny, no one else even sings or dances or has any kind of desire to do that kind of stuff. I don’t know where it came from. My family is full of accountants and such. But it’s always what I’ve wanted to do. My mom is my biggest fan. She’s the mom who came to every show. She wasn’t a stage parent, but she would sit in rehearsals and stuff like that.
When did you first come out?
Let’s see. When I got to college I became comfortable with it. When I was with people who were also gay. You also...do it in stages. I wasn’t comfortable with my family knowing then.
Check out more of the interview, along with several pictures and V Factory videos after the jump!

He may be skinny, but the falsetto-loving singer has got a nice set of abs. Who knew?
Mika has chosen to bare it all in his newest music video for the title track from his forthcoming album, "We Are Golden!" Ok, he doesn't strip down completely, but he does goof off and jump around a bunch in his lil' shorts. How scandalous of him! The video takes place in a bedroom that just screams of the vibrant and artsy Mika style -- or of a very precocious drama student of indeterminate sexuality (ahem). Head on over to Perez's big pink mess to watch Mika prancing nearly naked in his new video!
Fanny Pak is bar none one of the fiercest dance crews to ever compete on America's Best Dance Crew. And now their bringing that fierceness to PopLab! All photos courtesy of Robin Roemer Photography.
Fanny Pak, the retro-inspired finalists of America's Best Dance Crew Season 2, are going to host Logo's PopLab tonight! Fanny Pak first drew a lot of attention on their season of ABDC because of their incredibly creative, witty, and amazing dance skills. My personal favorite from season 2, the crew made it all the way to the final three. If you haven't seen their performance to Missy Elliot's Get Your Freak On, you must do so immediately! Head over to MTV's website to watch the video (Fanny Pak comes in around the 28 minute mark).
After the jump, catch a couple photos of the dance crew hamming it up as well as several videos of the band talking about how they got their name, working with Lil Mama, and how they choose the music for their performances! PopLab airs tonight at 12am/midnight, EST.

I have two exciting bits of information for Whitney Houston fans: Not only is the diva moving up the release of her new album, I Look to You, to August 31, but you can download the title track from her website for free starting today!
The first single was penned by none other than R. Kelly, and, though it lacks the goose-bump inducing high notes we're used to from Whitney, it's still a very pretty and moving song. Head over here to WhitneyHouston.com to download your own copy!
Congratulations are in order for Ms. Jessica Wild! The fierce performer has been selected by voters to be a contestant on the upcoming season of RuPaul's Drag Race! That's her in the above clip announcing that she won... Hopefully she'll improve her camera skills before the show actually starts. She's an insanely intense performer, so I imagine she'll be bringing a lot of energy to the show next season.
Hopefully she'll also prove to the people who voted for her that she deserves to be on the show, but something tells me we don't have anything to worry about. Just like last season's fan pick, season one runner up Nina Flowers, Jessica Wild hails from Puerto Rico and girl knows how to perform!
Jessica Wild: She's pretty... But can she lip-synch for her life?
Head on over to the RuPaul Casting website to see videos of JW performing at various shows. Girl is going to bring it!
Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell sings his heart out in the studio.
I know there has to be some die-hard Backstreet Boys fans still out there, so this will be really, really exciting news for you guys. Straight Through the Heart, the first single off the boys upcoming comeback album, This Is Us, can be heard at either their main website or blog. If you love super poppy, boy-bandy dance music, then this song is definitely for you. Seriously, this song is the definition of all that is cheesy pop music, but it's so damn catchy. Head either here or here to have a listen!
After the jump, check out more photos of the boys in the studio!

Here comes round two of Bravo's attempt to replace Project Runway. Launch My Line, a show where contestants get paired with established designers to produce their own fashion line, thankfully looks better than the hot mess that was the The Fashion Show. Maybe it was hatred for Isaac Mizrahi, maybe it was because I didn't understand why an ex-member of Destiny's Child was a judge, but I just could not bring myself to get anywhere close to getting into that show.
Back to Launch My Line. The contestants are comprised of people who are established in careers outside of fashion design (a DJ, fashion critics, an architect, and big gay dandy Patrick McDonald!) but still have an interest in 15 minutes of fashion design fame...I mean they want to create their own lines. You may recognize some of them, including Merle Ginsberg, judge on RuPaul's Drag Race, who I guess just couldn't get enough of the reality TV limelight. This show looks like a much better attempt to replace PR, and the DSquared twins look to be much better hosts than Mizrahi. I'll still be tuning in with a critical eye. The show premieres September 16th.
Well, this is interesting. Just like she did for Break the Ice, Britney Spears has released an animated video for her latest music video and I have to admit I'm a little disappointed. Kill the Lights is one of my favorite songs off her latest CD, and I would have loved to see her dancing up a storm in a video for this song. I guess her dancing skills aren't the greatest anymore, and the fact that she has chosen not to dance in this video or the one for Radar doesn't help her fight that assumption. Hopefully this means she'll be releasing this song as a single.
Now these boys and girls are FIERCE. I can't wait to see the routines they pull off next season. Photo courtesy of The Ride.
MTV's popular dance show, America's Best Dance Crew, has announced the crews for the upcoming season and there's one team in particular I am already in love with. Vogue Evolution, the show's first openly gay and transgender team, is going to be one of the crews on the upcoming fourth season and let me tell you, they are fierce!
I just watched them vogue and be all around fierce in a couple of videos and let me tell you, they know how to bring it. I will definitely be calling in to vote for them. Head on over here to watch a clip of the group auditioning for the show!
Team Griffin shows their support once again for the gays!
Kathy Griffin has once again shown why she is queen of the gays. Griffin and her entourage have all recently posed for the NO H8 campaign to show their support for arguably Kathy's biggest fan base. I didn't think I could love this woman anymore, but whether she's saying something highly offensive or fighting for gay rights, she's constantly winning me over! Check out the fabulous and hilarious pictures after the jump!

Oh P.C., you're one interesting character. The star of Bravo's NYC Prep, pretentious brat, and all around snot can be seen going shirtless for a fake photo shoot with photographer Zach Michaels, who P.C. has an apprenticeship with. Hmmm, he's definitely not helping to dispel those gay rumors that have been surrounding him lately... He even gets the male stylist's phone number at the end of the shoot!
Now, P.C. is 18, so don't worry, you can ogle over him all you want. I'll pass... I just can't get past his arrogance.
Kelly Clarkson looks stunning in the new video for her next single, "Already Gone." Seriously, girl is all glammed up in this video and I'm loving it. The song sounds a lot like Beyonce's "Halo" (especially the intro), but I find Clarkson's song better and much less annoying. Check out Clarkson all dolled up in the music video above!
So Jake gets soaking wet in an unbuttoned white shirt? Why isn't it May yet? I need to see this movie now.
Empire Magazine has revealed a couple new photos of Jake Gyllenhaal from his upcoming movie Prince of Persia in which he is soaking wet. And on horseback. While still soaking wet. Sure, he's dressed up like a combination of a pirate, a gypsy, and Adam Lambert, and he looks a little questionable with hair that long but...that still doesn't take away from the fact that it's Jake Gyllenhaal and he's wet and exposing his chest. Sadly, we have to wait until May 28, 2010 to see the movie. Until then, we have these pictures to tide us over.
So Queen Latifah has released the album art for her new album, Persona, and I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I get that she's playing different "personas," but it's still weird. The new album is coming out August 25th, and Latifah is supposed to mark her return to her hip-hop roots. The album was almost titled The 'L' Word because Latifah wanted to "mess with people’s heads.” You know, because there are "rumors" that she's gay. Ahem...
Album artwork for Jeffree Star's new album, Beauty Killer. The blood is a nice touch.
MySpace star, model, singer and makeup aficionado Jeffree Star has been making music for a couple years now, but he's finally coming out with a debut album this Septemeber. If you've never heard of Star, just know that this guy loves makeup, social networking sites, gender-bending, and singing about things like cupcakes made of violence and plastic surgery slumber parties.
Star's debut album is titled Beauty Killer (of course it is) and contains tracks produced by Ultra Violet Sound, Nathaniel Motte (3OH!3), Lester Mendez (Shakira, Nelly Furtado), Luke Walter (Limp Bizkit), and Nico Hartikainen (Danger Radio). I'm kind of curious to see what it will sound like, just because Star is so..."unique." I'll just have to wait and see.
The always raunchy Madonna beckons you to read the rest of this post.

It's time once again to find out what was truly fabulous about the past week! This week, there seems to be an overwhelming amount of fabulous news involving very attractive men. You know, I'm not complaining. Check it all out below!
5. Jake Gyllenhaal gets his sexy on in the new poster for Prince of Persia.
There's not really much to say about this. Jake Gyllenhaal's upcoming movie, Prince of Persia, just released this movie poster and hot damn, Jake is looking incredibly buff. I'm hoping this movie will follow in Jarhead's footsteps and feature Jake in as little clothes as possible. It's a Disney film, though, so I don't know how much skin will be shown. Oh well, his face is still pretty.
Check out more hot men and other celebrity news after the jump!

WARNING: Some pretty raw language is in the clip above!!!!
Oh, Lady Gaga, you are never lacking amusing things to do or say. In the above interview, the Poker Face singer talks bluntly with a reporter about her sex life, what she is really looking for (her answer is definitely NSFW), and even gets a little snippy towards the end of the interview. This woman is hilarious. I wish I knew what went on in that crazy head of hers!
I've always loved the Jackass and Wild Boys dudes. They give raucous, horned-up, crazy straight boys a good name. Johnny Knoxville is my dream man. And Steve-O, bless his heart, rocks a leopard-print thong like nobody ever has. Plus, he was on Dancing with the Stars. Yay!
This week, JackassWorld.com posted a totally fun video of Steve-O shooting an ad for the NO H8 campaign, which works to fight the anti-gay evilness of the Prop 8 crowd. Give it a look, above! "After all," he says, "The Wild Boys have been advocating for same-sex marriage for years!" Awwwwww... And Steve-O's bud Big Regg is hilarious!
Warning: The language in the video is very raw and totally NSFW. Watch out! As Steve-O puts it "Prop 8 is f**king bullsh*t, Man!" and "I kissed my friend's penis in Russia!" Good stuff, indeed.
You also gotta love that Steve-O keeps his dishy eye makeup on as he leaves the shoot. Attagirl!
 Mr. & Mr. Steve-O!
Day and Night singer Kid Cudi recently debuted the music video for his song "Make Her Say" which features Kanye West and Common as well. The song samples an acoustic version of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" with quite the raunchy result (though I doubt Lady Gaga has any problem with that). The video is pretty simple and kind of boring, but the split screen makes it interesting. I also find Common incredibly attractive, so his part makes it worth a watch alone. The song is definitely worth a listen, so check it out!
Gigdet, your thick accent and adorableness will be very missed.
Sad news Taco Bell lovers. The canine star of the incredibly popular Taco Bell commercials, Gidget, has passed away at the age of 15 of a stroke. Not only was she the star of many Taco Bell commercials, she also starred alongside Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde. She was the cutest dog, and even though it was really annoying when everybody and their mother said "yo quiero Taco Bell" all the time, her commercials were the best the fast food chain has ever made. Hopefully now she's getting some damn tacos up in doggy heaven!
I've always had a crush on T.R. He is such a cutie!
Ex-Grey's Anatomy star and openly gay actor T.R. Knight talks all about his departure from the hit ABC show in next week's issue of Entertainment Weekly. He even talks about the "Isaiahgate” incident (you know...when then co-star Isaiah Washington called T.R. a f*ggot while arguing with Patrick Dempsey) and how exec producer Shonda Rhimes didn't want him to come out.
Hearing all this, I can't say I blame T.R. for leaving. Rhimes all but cut him out of the show this past season, and the whole Izzie/George/Callie love triangle was just incredibly stupid. Still, I'm sad I'll no longer be watching the incredibly adorable Knight every week. The issue hits stands this Friday. Check out a preview of the article here.
Ladies and gentlemen, one of your new VH1 Divas. Yeesh.
VH1 recently announced four of the performers for their upcoming VH1 Divas special airing September 17 and boy, do I have opinions. Kelly Clarkson, Adele, Leona Lewis, and Miley freaking Cyrus are all slated to perform on the show. I just have to ask...since when is a 16-year-old a diva? She may act like one...but at that age it's more like she's a spoiled brat than a true diva.
As for the other girls, I guess they're ok choices. Kelly Clarkson is probably my favorite on the list, but she doesn't really strike me as a diva. Leona and Adele are so new to the music scene, I don't know what to think about them. They've both got incredible voices, so that should be good. They still have four more divas to announce, and I just have to say, Beyonce better be there too!
The Hollywood Reporter has a pretty great video series where they interview Hollywood types. Actors, writers... People you like. For some pre-Emmys fun, they round up some awesome TV and movie women for a chat about showbiz. Their "Women of Comedy" incudes Amy Poehler, Sarah Silverman, Christina Applegate, Jane Krakowski, Mary-Louise Parker and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss talking shop.
The clip above gets good (Watch out: There may be some foul language.) when the women talk about age in Hollywood. More than one of them read to be Jonah Hill's mother in a script recently! AfterEllen's got more good commentary about it. And check out HollywoodReporter.com for more good clips.
There's not really much else to say...the first trailer for Tim Burton's spin on the Lewis Carroll classic Alice in Wonderland has arrived and it looks simply incredible. The movie looks equal parts bizarre, magical, and trippy. I'm loving the cast: Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and, of course, that fabulous Matt Lucas as Tweedledee/Tweedledum. Can't wait!
Oh Colton Ford. The world of music would be so less raunchy without you to constantly pose naked.
Everybody's favorite gay porn-star turned musician, Colton Ford, recently answered a few questions about his upcoming covers album, creatively titled Under the Covers. Colton talks about everything from his many years in the music industry, as well as his porn past. I imagine his life is never boring.
Here's a bit:
How did you end up choosing the songs for UNDER THE COVERS?
I had a couple of ideas going into it, and my manager, Bill Coleman, fed me a lot of great songs, some of which I was familiar with and some not. But they all spoke to me. Working with songs that were not part of my musical background enabled me to get in there and bring my own musical stylings to them.
Why did you choose to record covers instead of original songs this time out?
People have an immediate familiarity and connection with these songs, yet, I’m able to bring a different character with my voice that people wouldn’t expect. It’s a nice way for people to become more familiar with me as a singer and to bring my music to a broader audience.
Check out the rest of the interview -- with the porn questions -- after the jump!

Well, this certainly will be interesting. The wonderfully morose and comically gothic Addams family is coming to Broadway. I used to love watching the Addams family movies when I was younger, and I can totally imagine just how bizarre and oddly funny a musical based on the dark family will most likely be.
Broadway mega stars Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth are set to star as Gomez and Morticia, so you know that this musical will be good. According to a press release, in the musical the "famously macabre Addams Family is put to the test when outsiders come to dinner, hurling Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Grandmama and Lurch headlong into a night that will change the family forever." It's set to open Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, so start saving your money now! Head on over to the musical's website for more information.
Onstage in NYC last night. The Diva is back! But can she deliver great music like she used to?
--by John Polly
At 6pm last evening I scooted up in the rain to the Jazz at Lincoln Center theater overlooking Columbus Circle for the big NYC "listening party" wherein Clive Davis would unveil a big batch of songs (9 in total!) from the forthcoming Whitney Houston album, I Look to You (due Sept. 1st). Yes, Whitney would be there. She wouldn't be singing, but she'd be there. Crazy!
I got there, milled around over cocktails in a big lobby which also held Martha Stewart, Diane Sawyer, Gayle King (no Oprah), gay media mogul Keith Boykin, MTV's Sway, EW's Jess Cagle and Dave Karger, Bravo's Andy Cohen and more media types (and yep, a lotta gays). Soon, we were all swooshed into the big auditorium (with its fab views of Central Park) for the big Whitney love-in. A big 5-foot tall poster of Whitney's new album cover loomed overhead, but hanging even heavier in the air was the anticipation. Can the beleaguered diva actually come back? And more brashly, does she still have the pipes after so many (ahem) turbulent years?
After the jump, more dish on the night, hot pics, video from the event... And a song-by-song breakdown!!!!

I've blogged about the awesome Holly Miranda very briefly before. I sort of worship this amazing up-and-coming Brooklyn/Tennessee-based singer/songwriter... And you will too. Kanye West even reveres her, which means lots.
Holly's playing a show in NYC this coming weekend; teaming up with another killer out singer, Joan As Police Woman, for a hot gig at the 92nd Street Y - Tribeca on Saturday, January 25th. If you're in NYC, go. You won't be sorry.
And above, watch the hilarious queer comic and AfterEllen vlog-host Liz Feldman in her final "This Just Out" vlog of the season, in which Holly visits. First, Liz's mom appears, and Liz's usual guest Raimie, but about 20 minutes into it comes Holly with a searing live performance and a fun chat with Liz. Hurrah!
Holly Miranda, as snapped by Celesta Danger.
Trust. The future is all about Holly Miranda. Get ready!
On tonight's episode of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott (who were among the highlights of RuPaul's Drag Race last season) attend the wedding of their close friends, who have asked none other than Lady Bunny to entertain the crowd. Showing up in a dress short enough to even make Lindsay Lohan blush, Lady Bunny does what she does best: Be ridiculous!
Check out a preview of the wedding above, which includes horrible, horrible dancing (but some hot Amanda Lepore muzak). You know, stuff typical of any wedding. Tori Spelling also does a dress change in the middle of the evening. Who brings their own team of stylists to their close friend's wedding?
Lady Bunny's hair is bigger than all of Tori Spelling. Her hair probably weighs more than Spelling, too.
Catch Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood tonight at 10/9c on Oxygen.
Well, you certainly can't say Kris Allen doesn't get into his performances.

Out and proud MTV correspondent Kim Stolz has come quite a ways since her days on reality television. Can't say the same for some of the past winners...
By Cory Stottlemyer
America's Next Top Model alum, MTV News correspondent, and out lesbian Kim Stolz sat down with me recently to discuss her future plans, how she got to where she is now, and her opinions on things such as the Obama administration.
Everybody's going to want to know...why did you do Top Model?
I went to Wesleyan University and studied government and foreign policy...and wrote a thesis my senior year on the impact of exit strategies on United States intervention abroad in the Post-Cold War Era. I was sitting around with my friends one day and they told me "you have to do something crazy before you go to law school!"
I had never wanted to be a model. My mom was a model, and I always thought was cool, but not for me. My friends saw an ad for Top Model and told me I had to audition. I went basically because of a bet. My friends and I made a bet; I lost it and went to the audition.
Kim dishes more about her time on Top Model and MTV after the jump!

Well I never thought I'd see this duet go down. Cyndi Lauper paired up with rapper and sometimes-inmate Lil' Kim to sing the Lauper hit "Time After Time" for Nelson Mandela's birthday party? I have to say, Kim's not completely horrible. Her voice is definitely, er...unique, that's for sure. I think she should stick to rapping, but this is a good effort at least!
She's got stunning, sultry, and sexy down, but can she add leading lady to her skill set?
Top Chef host and all around exotic beauty Padma Lakshmi is supposedly getting her own NBC sitcom our friends at AfterEllen report. Who knew she could do things besides introduce guest judges and taste test food? Apparently she's acted in several movies in the past, like the Mariah Carey horros-fest Glitter. Who knows, maybe she's some untapped comedic genius waiting to be unleashed. Yeah... We'll just have to see.
And just for fun, check out her Hardee's commercial below. Delicious!
You may have seen the delirious and snarky Mike Diamond on Logo (or LogoOnline) interviewing dog and breeders on the PopLab music video show, or terrorizing the red carpet at the NewNowNext Awards or the GLAAD Awards. He's your basic mad queen with a microphone asking celebs (or celeb wannabes) tacky, random questions and usually being way more funny than the people he's quizzing. And of that, we approve!
But Mike likes to travel, too. So watch the video above to see what happens when he visits a surreal place like Palm Springs. Between the seniors crammed on a tram tour, the gay bears sloshing down happy hour martinis, the 80-year-old chorus girls rocking the follies, and the nude twinks splashing around the gay resorts, Mike's got his hands full!
Get more Mike at MikeDiamondOnline; get more dishy travel stuff at TripOutGayTravel.com.
More Project Runway news! Lifetime has released an official trailer for the new season, and even though traffic cone orange Lindsay Lohan is going to be a guest judge, I'm even more excited than when the last bit of PR news came out. It's great to see that the judges are back with more scathing critiques, Heidi's accent is still as cute as ever, Timm Gunn is still fabulous, and the contestants are as harried and bitchy as ever!
Just one request: More Nina Garcia!!! I need more of that Colombian goddess's bitchiness in my life. You can also check out a preview for "Models of the Runway," the companion show airing alongside PR that is all about the models and their drama. Both shows air August 20th.
Ashton Kutcher, aka Mr. Demi Moore, has a new movie coming out called Spread that's apparently about a young man (Kutcher) who sleeps with as many women as humanly possibly. Including the formerly coo-coo crazy Anne Heche.
In the above preview for the French version, titled Toy Boy, we're given a sneak peak at the shameless man candy in the film (and I'm not talking about Kutcher's face here). Leave it to the French to show a little skin. The movie hits U.S. theaters August 14. Check out the American trailer below:
We're down to four! James Paul, Daniella, Anna, and Reco.
Finale: Part 1
-by Eric Walter
It's been 10 weeks since Merlin went home, and the remaining designers have been hard at work pulling together their beads, buckles and bows for the season finale of The Fashion Show. Now America votes.
But Isaac drops a bomb: America will indeed decide the winner — but among only three finalists. One is eliminated this week. If this is the only surprise this episode delivers, we'll take it! The final collections have been available to view on Bravo's Web site for a few weeks now, so there's nothing new to see here.
Aw... buck up, designers! The eliminated one still gets $10,000!
In their final fashion show of the season, populated by a handful of Housewives from New Jersey and New York, the designers give it their best. Thankfully, Theresa keeps her hands off the furniture and Caroline leaves her killer dogs chained up outside.
Dispensing with what worked and what didn't, let's just take a look at what everyone showed.

Be sure to tune into VH1's Brooke Knows Best this Sunday at 10pm EST to watch as Brook's best friend, Glenn Douglas Packard, returns home to talk to his old high school about his coming out process.
Glenn talked with us a while back about his return home and about coming out to his family, but in this episode you get to see him talk with his ex-fiance about how he's now gay and watch him struggle to introduce his new boyfriend to his parents. In a word, it's deep! Check out the preview clip above to see Brooke and their roommate Ashley meet his ex-fiance and family for the first time. This episode should be good...and very touching! Go Glenn!
I look at Michael Ian Black, and I don't see a man with issues. I just see a man who is...ummm...ok, yeah, he's got issues.
By Cory Stottlemyer
The always hilarious Michael Ian Black, star of the new Comedy Central show Michael and Michael Have Issues, recently answered some of our questions about his new show, playing gay, and how long he'll be showing up to make commentary on VH1's "I Love [Insert random decade here]" series.
First things first, tell me about you new show. How did it come about?
Well the new show is called Michael and Michael Have Issues. It’s about my real, long time relationship with Michael Showalter. And you know it’s just about two idiots. Two hyper competitive idiots.
What personal "issues" do you deal with on a day-to-day basis?
My personal issues? Self loathing. Paranoia. Debilitating insecurity. Emotional paralysis. Fear of bugs. Gluttony. Sexual deviance. Hay fever.
See clips of the new show and read about Michael kissing Bradley Cooper after the jump!

Stevie Nicks is amazing. She's the original rock 'n' roll gypsy queen, the world's fiercest "gold dust woman," a bewitching and be-shawled enchantress, the muse of Fleetwood Mac (and one-time lover to half the band), and an icon to chanting, twirling, tambourine-wielding wannabe sorceresses across the globe. And this Sunday night, she's on Logo!
Yup, Logo is launching a new series of specials wherein in gaydom's most beloved and revered divas/icons will sit down for a sassy one-on-one chat. It's called NewNowNext ICONS, and who better than rock royalty Stevie Nicks to kick off the premiere episode? It airs this Sunday at 12am, EST.
Sneak a peek at the little promo clip above... And tune in to hear Ms. Nicks sound off about what the term "icon" means to her, and hear her share stories about hanging backstage with Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix in San Francisco back in the day...
Stevie also discusses her Rhiannon-obsessed fans, her gay following, the origins of her vagabond-tastic fashion sense, AND -- she serves up her take on the now-legendary NYC party, "Night of 1,000 Stevies" which celebrates her lace-clad brilliance annually. (Note: Watch out. Stevie's gonna sneak in next year. Maybe!)
After the jump, a classic Stevie video. Or two. Just because...

Bethenny is bringing her signature sass to her own show on Bravo. Who needs the other Housewives?
Everybody has been going crazy about the Real Housewives on Bravo. Whether they're flipping tables or accusing each other of being offensive to gay people, these ladies are straight up reality television gold. My personal favorite New York housewife, Bethenny Frankel, is getting her own show on Bravo titled "Skinny & The City." It's apparently going to be about her planning her wedding to fiancé Jason Hoppy (quite a departure from her single, man-hunting self from the last season of the show).
I have to ask though...will Jill Zarin be there every episode? Bethenny is funny, and I love how brutally honest she can be, but even I admit she's infinitely funnier when interacting with the spectacular Jill. If Bravo is smart they'll make sure Jill has a special part on the new show.
Check it out, ladies and gentlemen! Mariah Carey has finally released the music video for her song Obsessed, and it's just as weird as I thought it would be. We showed you pictures of Carey on set a while back dressed up in an Eminem type outfit (come on...we all know she's supposed to be him...you're fooling nobody Mimi). Well, check out the video to see her drag self in action. Seriously, what do you think of that goatee she is sporting? Mariah, I have no doubt you'd make a hot dude, but that attempt at facial hair is killing me.
The video is quite hilarious, and I'm slowly warming up to the song (it's been stuck in my head for DAYS). I especially love the Mean Girls-esque ending to the video.
If only she'd win... You know a Sarah Silverman acceptance speech would be brutal.
Emmy nominations were announced this morning (it's the 61st year - oy!). 30 Rock and Mad Men got truckloads, no shocker. But some nice surprises... One is that they're allowing more noms in some categories, so now there can be, like, 6 or 7 nominees for stuff like Best Comedy Series and Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
That means, some fresher talent can join the folks who tend to hog all the noms. Like... Sarah Silverman who takes her place among usual suspects Tina Fey and Julia Louis-Dreyfus for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. It's for The Sarah Silverman Program, of course. In which she plays herself (ha!). And which will be on Logo next year. Nice, eh?
Cherry, Neil Patrick Harris and Kathy Griffin get some gay Emmy-nomination love. Suck it!
Gays nominated for prizes include Neil Patrick Harris for Best Supporting Actor on a Comedy Series, How I Met Your Mother (NPH will also be hosting the Emmys); Cherry Jones for Best Supporting Actress for playing the President on 24; Sir Ian McKellen for his King Lear special or movie or mini-series thingy; and of course, non-gay Kathy Griffin (whose tireless inclusion and championing of gays in her show My Life on the D-List is unparalleled) is up for Best Reality series, and one or two others.
Sadly, no Emmy love for RuPaul. Surely, Ru can rank along Heidi and Padma as "Best Reality Show Host," right? Or Drag Race should at least have gotten a nod for Best Lighting! It takes a lotta work to blow Ru's sh*t out with those battleship-worthy searchlights, okaaay?
Who I gotta blow to get an Emmy nom up in heerrrre?
AfterElton's got a little gay overview on the Emmy noms. Or check out the Emmy site for the full, completely exhausting list of way too many categories.
The show airs September 20th on CBS.
Here's the album cover for Whitney Houston's new album "I Look to You" (coming on Sept. 1st). Or perhaps we can call it, "I Look Like Jocelyn Wildenstein" or "I Look Like a Madame Tussaud's Version of Me."
Whatevs. Airbrushed, photoshopped, propped up and wheeled out on a gurney... I just want some Whitney! Bring it on! Ms. H and her mentor/chaperone Clive Davis held a listening party and unveiled tunes from the record recently in London. Her press folks say that "the audience full of VIPs, press and tastemakers raved and danced in the aisle over Whitney’s new album!" Mercy... Raving? Like, with glowsticks?
Pics from the London listening event; Peace out, Whit-Whit!
There's a listening event next week here in NYC. I'll go and report back. If dancing in the aisles happens, you'll hear about it.
 Beauty, thy name is Bond.
Justin Bond may be known best as the singing/cocktail-wielding Kiki, one-half of the world-renowned performance duo, Kiki and Herb, and it’s no wonder. The pair have had a Tony-nominated run on Broadway, played Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House -- and of course crusty gay venues from Avenue A to Kangaroo Island.
But Justin Bond is striking out on his own, with a new EP of original music just released, and a big concert next Wednesday, July 22nd at NYC’s Highline Ballroom. The EP, Pink Slip, boasts 4 new original tunes from Bond and his collaborator Our Lady J, and one killer Radiohead cover (“Weird Fishes”). The results are gorgeous, dramatic, melodic, severe and searingly fresh, much like Bond himself. (“The Puppet Song” is beyond fabulous.) And head’s up: A full-length release of new tunes from Justin is due later this year!
If you’re in NYC, don’t miss the concert next week. Clint Michigan (a rising indie duo you should know) will be opening, as will the comic treats Jeffery & Cole (also seen in "Jeffery & Cole’s Casserole" on Logo). AND... If you can, splurge and buy the VIP seats for the show; for $50, the proceeds will benefit the Ali Forney Center, which provides housing and services for LGBT homeless youth. Plus, you’ll get a meet-and-greet with La Bond himself!
And go check out Butt Magazine’s great, lengthy new interview with Justin, in which he discusses his music-making process, Radical Faeries, Michael Jackson, life after Kiki, and other tasty topics.
After the jump, check out our video interview with Justin and Our Lady J from last year, when Justin's show "Lustre" was opening at P.S. 122 in the East Village. (And apologies: The sound on the video is low. You'll need to turn it UP. Thanks!)

One of the hazards of being a blind politician... Does Paterson know who he's posing with? Go Bunny!
You gotta love the legendary Lady Bunny. She's an iconic drag superstar, a fierce DJ, a madcap personality and she even does her bit for charity. This past weekend she DJ'd and appeared at a big fundraiser for the Empire State Pride Agenda in the Hamptons, where she got cozy with NY's gay-friendly Governor David Paterson. The party raged so fiercely, the cops were called in to calm things down. Turns out those horsey Hamptons folks like to get their gay on!
Check out Bunny's personal pics from the big shindig, and her scathing commentary on the party people! Ouch! (But hey, props to all involved for raising $$$ to aid ESPA's fight for our gay rights.)
Pics and pith after the jump!

British songstress Lily Allen has released an all new music video for her single "22." If you pay attention to the lyrics of the song...it's actually kind of sad.
The song, about an almost 30-year-old woman who looks back on when she was 22, is slightly autobiographical. I mean, Lily is constantly getting called a mess, similar to the woman in the song who is seen as old and past her prime. Granted, Lily is often seen stumbling out of bars or appears tipsy while performing on stage, so she asks for it a little. Mess or not, she knows how to make good music, and the video is really clever. Buck up, Lil!
Check it out!
