If you’re a boy band, the hardest part of breaking up is apparently not reuniting a decade later. Fake MTV boy band 2GE+HER are lobbying for a reunion, following (once again) in the footsteps of Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block.

Best known for their parody songs like “U + Me =  Us” and The Hardest Part Of Breaking Up (Is Getting Back Your Stuff), 2gether started out as fictional boy band satirizing 90s boy bands with an MTV TV movie and spin-off TV series. Their comedic songs became so popular they even opened for Britney Spears in her 2002 concert series.

The youngest member of the band Michael Cuccione died of cancer in 2001; his tragic death ended the TV series. Now, TMZ reports the band is hoping to get back together and film a faux documentary about their “reunion.” A large amount of the proceeds will be given to Michael Cuccione’s foundation. The band also hopes to create a new song, and is reportedly attempting to meet with MTV execs about their plan.

Here’s hoping the new song is just as catchy as their big hits. Do you have “I know my calculus” ringing in your head? Yup. You are welcome.
