31 Days Of Davey Wavey: The Time The Gay Games Went For The Gold (WATCH)

Today Davey talks about the Gay Games, which were founded by Olympian Tom Waddell in 1982 as the Gay Olympics (the mean ol' IOC sued and made him change it). While a major sporting event, the Games emphasize the spirit of inclusion and participation over competition. The Gay Games are open to all regardless of  sexual orientation or ability.  The 2014 Gay Games will be held in Cleveland and Akron, Ohio, August 9-16.
