The Costume Institute Benefit Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art was filled with a lot of exciting faces, all of whom we now forget since gazing our peepers on Rihanna, who mopped the red carpet for filth with her gorgeous imperial yellow couture cape from Chinese designer Guo Pei.
“I was researching Chinese coutoure on the Internet and found it,” Rihanna explained to Vanity Fair. “It’s handmade by one Chinese woman and it took her two years to make.”
Rihanna above-and-beyond-nailed the evening’s theme, “China: Through The Looking Glass,” electrifying the red carpet as only badgal can do.
But enough talking about it, let’s gaze at it from 34 different, equally important angles.
Craving just one more pic? Fine, here’s a 35th because #Rihanna.
