Let your summer go out with a bang!

Observed annually the first Monday of September, Labor Day officially celebrates the historic contributions of the U.S. worker; unofficially, it signals the end of another summer. For a large swath of the country, it's the last warm-weather hoorah before the return of the cold. So, to help you celebrate in style, here are three queer Labor Day weekend happenings you may want to check out:

Pride Bingo with Trixie Mattel and Martha Wash

Atlantic City's Borgata Hotel Casino and The Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance will host a PRIDE BINGO on Saturday, September 1. The event, emceed by Trixie Mattel, includes a special live performance by "Everybody Everybody" singer Martha Wash, drag performances, and lots of prizes. Proceeds from the night will go to support Borgata’s annual Miss’d America Pageant that takes place three weeks later and features top drag talent competing for the title and crown.

Atlanta Black Pride Weekend

Launched in 1996, Atlanta Black Pride Weekend routinely draws 100,000 attendees to its event-packed weekend that includes a White Party, a Soulfood Poetry Slam Jazz Brunch, the 100 Men Strong Dinner and Mixer, the PureHeat Comedy Festival, the Traxx Girls Big Bang Event, and more.

W Hollywood gives the music festival concept a makeover with "Wake Up Call," a multi-day event featuring acts like Betty Who, Charli XCX (above), Chromeo, and Phantogram. Technically, the event is exclusively for Starwood Preferred Guests, but enrolling is as easy as filling out the form here.

As we reported last week, Wigstock—the drag concert that highlights downtown NYC nightlife—makes its triumphant return to New York this Labor Day thanks to original founder Lady Bunny with the help of actor Neil Patrick Harris.
