4th Grader On Gay Marriage: "It Doesn't Matter If It Creeps You Out, Get Over It!"

From the mouths of babes: A world-wise elementary-school student composed one of the clearest and most straightforward arguments for marriage equality we've ever heard in a long time.

A fourth-grade teacher posted an essay by a student on Reddit, explaining it was his submission for a persuasive-assignment essay. “I am not sharing this because of how perfect the sentences are, but because of how clear his thought process is on this specific issue,” the teacher wrote, adding that the child had "more sense than some adults.”

In the essay, the unnamed grade-schooler writes:

“Why gay people should be able to get married is you can’t stop two adult’s from getting married because there grown and it doesn’t matter if it creeps you out just get over it.  And you should be happy for them because it’s a big moment in their life.  When I went to my grandparents wedding it was the happies moment.”

Wait a minute—people old enough to have grandkids are getting married? Do the Republicans know about this?!?
