Ashley's 'A-List Dallas' Blog -- Episode 2

Footloose

I dance every single day of my life, so having the opportunity to perform a dance at Chase's party was so special to me! Moreover, a dance performance is a prime opportunity to spend 5 hours rhinestoning a dress! To make this event happen on such short notice I knew just who to call; Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) dance technician and choreographer Kitty Carter. Kitty has fierce choreography and she was my dance teacher when I was in training camp with the DCC. Kitty allowed us to dance and film in her studio, and helped tremendously with the choreography. Everyone worked really hard to bring the event together; in fact, the glue adhering the rhinestones to my dress was still wet during the party! Special thanks to dancers Michael Slyvester, Terry Snyder, Christina Miller, Michael Sharp, Courtney Lutz, Dick Carter, Claudio Rivas, Sari Cowsert, Tarah Tristan, for their commitment and a fantastic performance!

"I don't eat anything that comes from the ocean…"

First of all, one has to understand that a large portion of the footage is taken out, and a viewer is only shown that which is deemed relevant. My explanation and defense for my omission of food was left on the editing room floor. Chase asked me to help taste food in an attempt to provide his guests with food they would be comfortable eating. I felt I was acting as an accurate representation of the guests at the party by refusing to eat food(s) which I disliked. Second, Casandra and Donnie were describing the hors d'oeuvres as if they were once my neighbor's duck, Daffy. Like I said, "I don't want to know the specific animal that I'm eating." If you think that's a "ditsy" comment, I would encourage you to think a little deeper, more "specifically," if you will. When I say "specific," I am talking not about the genus of animal, rather the personality of the animal. Telling me that I am eating the belly of a sweet, soft, innocent pig that was a cancer survivor, I assure you, will not result in act of consumption on my part.

The fight between Levi & Taylor

At the conclusion of episode two the viewers saw Levi attack Taylor, with me in the center or the physical drama. While I can't tell you details about the fight, I will tell you that I went home that night with one broken pink stiletto, rhinestones missing from my dress, and a whole lot of confusion!
