The last we saw of ex-Congressman Aaron Schock, he was riding into the sunset after resigning amid allegations he used government funds for personal purposes.

The Illinois Republican originally made headlines for his eye-catching Instagram, flashy fashion sense and odd habit of popping up near gay bathhouses.

He also lavishly decorated his congressional offices to resemble the manor in Downton Abbey.

Schock's been the frequent target of gay rumors, but his father insists he's straight, "he just wears stylish clothing."

Then came allegations that campaign funds were being used for private uses—like Schock's good friend and “personal photographer,” Jonathan Link, who accompanied the 31-year-old took on a trip to India.

Under House rules, representatives can accept private money for a companion’s travel expenses “only if the companion is a staffer, spouse or child.”

Schock resigned in March 2015 and basically went silent for 19 months, preferring to climb Machu Picchu with his dad than face the music in D.C.

Then there was a single tweet in January defending his honor and a random appearance on the House floor in June.

And last week, he returned to Instagram—updating his work with Housing for Humanity.

It’s not clear what Aaron’s been up to all that time, but source say the ex-Republican has moved to West Hollywood where he is a business consultant.

We’re sure his fashion sense is better suited to WeHo than D.C.

In July, a grand jury declined to indict Schock for any financial wrongdoing.
