Adam Lambert Discusses His New "Folk Pop" Sound, Using Music As Medicine
Adam Lambert will perform his latest hit "Ghost Town" when he takes the stage at Logo's 2015 Trailblazer Honors this Saturday.
In a new clip, the trailblazing American Idol glam rocker talks about the inspiration behind his new "folk pop" sound and how he sees music as a kind of medicine.
"I think the story behind Ghost Town is something that everybody can find themselves in — this feeling of being a bit lost or empty if certain things don't work out the way you thought they were going to," he said. "We all have that moment…but then that beat comes on, and that music comes in, it's sexy and it makes you want to dance. I think that dance is the medicine that can get you through the hard times."
The 2015 Trailblazer Honors air Saturday, June 27, at 8pm.
