ABC Family, no matter what it calls itself, can’t get rid of Pat Robertson’s The 700 Club.

"According to an unnamed source, the network tried to buy out Robertson, but the price quoted was "astronomical." The 700 Club is valuable property for Robertson: CBN’s most recent tax audit shows its airtime is worth $42.4 million annually. “We thought we could negotiate it and give him a lot of money. But that was never [Robertson’s] intention," an unnamed source told TV Insider. "The language is ironclad. I don’t know what it would take at this point to get rid of it."

We'll be spotlighting 100 more of the greatest minor hits of the decade, the songs you don’t hear on any 80’s nostalgia show. Songs that missed the top ten, or top twenty … or top forty. Hopefully these forgotten gems may ring a long dormant bell, or for younger readers, provide a pop music history lesson.

At #33 is "Wild Horses" by Gino Vannelli

Canadian Gino hit the top ten with "Living Inside Myself" and "I Just Wanna Stop," but never hit the top 40 again, even with great pop songs like "Hurts To Be In Love" (featured on the first countdown). "Wild Horses" would be his final entry on the Hot 100, peaking at #55 in June 1987.
