Well friends, Ryan Murphy just tweeted the best news ever:

I am thrilled to announce that the super talented Adam Lambert is joining the cast of Glee this fall.

That's right, our boy Adam Lambert has joined the cast of Glee for season five, which almost makes up for the fact that we had to say goodbye to so many of our faves.

No word on his role yet, but we do know this latest addition to the cast has a set of pipes that can put pretty much everyone else in the world to shame.

Looks like Miss Lea Michele is gonna have a little bit of competition this season.
