Adam Lambert Teases Preview Of New Single, "Ghost Town"

Late last night, Adam Lambert took to Instagram to tease a snippet of his new single "Ghost Town" off his upcoming album, The Original High.

The song, in an act surely coincidental (no shade!), shares a title with the current single off of Madonna's new album, Rebel Heart.

It's been over three years since the release of Lambert's sophomore effort, Trespassing, which saw the former American Idol become the first openly gay artist to land at number one on the Billboard 200.

The brief clip–which has already amassed 20,000 'likes'–features a James Dean-inspired Lambert slowly gazing up at the camera as a series of synths and whistles begin to slowly burn.

Lambert sat down with Billboard back in January to reveal details about the upcoming album, saying :

I think people are going to be really surprised. The album feels like a new era for me - emotionally, lyrically, sonically.

It feels fresh, it feels new. It's still me. It's still stuff that fans know and love but it's a new chapter 100 percent.

Consider us ready.
