Elmo Shares Adorable Victory Dance With Out Skater Adam Rippon

The "Sesame Street" star praised Rippon for his medal-worthy performance.

Sesame Street star Elmo took to Twitter to congratulate out figure skater Adam Rippon for winning the bronze this weekend at the Winter Olympics.

Elmo shared a GIF jiving with Rippon, who placed third behind Russian skater Mikhail Kolyada and Canadian Patrick Chan.

“Elmo is so proud of you!” the ticklish Muppet wrote. “#Elmovation!”

Rippon made history in January when he became the first openly gay male American to qualify for a Winter Olympics.

Earlier this month, Elmo interviewed Rippon and other Olympians about their sports. “You wear ice skates,” the 28-year-old told his fuzzy friend. “I like to go as fast as I can and do spins and jumps.”
