"Reign" Star Adelaide Kane Comes Out as Bisexual on TikTok

"This has been sitting in my drafts for weeks."

TikTok is *the* place to come out as LGBTQ, and Adelaide Kane got the memo.

The Aussie actress, model, and star of The CW's Reign used the platform to announce that she is bisexual this week, making her the latest in a string of newly out celebs who opened up on TikTok. On Monday, Kane uploaded a video of her being "super nervous to come out publicly as bisexual to the people in my life & social media" — all to the tune of Michael Bublé singing "I am not surprised."

"This has been sitting in my drafts for weeks," she captioned the post.

While fans of the 30-year-old actress were not surprised, they were overwhelmingly supportive, blowing up Kane's TikTok with comments welcoming her to the community and celebrating her coming out as "a win for the girls." At the time of writing, her TikTok has more than 215,000 likes and 6,200 comments — and if her follow-up "Gf application" video is any indication, Kane is single and ready to mingle.

Kane follows in the footsteps of fellow LGBTQ actresses Auli’i Cravalho (Moana) and Nikki Blonsky (Hairspray), who also used the platform to talk publicly about their sexual orientation for the first time.

We'll hop on the support bandwagon, too: Welcome to the fam, Adelaide! We're glad to have you here.
