Some not so great news Adele fans. While the singer is confirmed to attend the February 12 Grammy Awards ceremony, she is still not sure she will be able to perform following surgery on her vocal cords. Whyyyyyyy?
"Adele's best friend in recent weeks has been warm compresses around her neck to help the healing process of her vocal chords," a source says. "Producers of the Grammys would love to have Adele perform, and open the show, but she isn't able to give them an answer yet. She won't be able to give them an answer until the beginning of February."
Now while we will of course spend every day until the Grammys praying Adele can sing that night we have one very, very important request of the producers. Do not, under any circumstance, allow any singer to perform one of Adele's songs should she be unable to go on. It will not be pretty.
And Adele, should you need anything to help those recovering cords in the next few weeks, just give us a yell.
