Adele Delivers Gorgeous Grammy Tribute To George Michael

"I can't mess this up for him."

After snatching multiple awards, Adele surprised Grammy viewers by returning to the stage to pay tribute to George Michael with a slow, moving version of his track "Fast Love."

The dedication got off to a rocky start, with the singer stopping the orchestra and asking them to start again.

"I'm sorry for swearing and I'm sorry for starting again," she said, after stopping mid-performance. "Can we please start it again? I'm sorry, I can't mess this up for him."

With the thunderous support of the crowd, Adele restarted, delivering an emotional cover as images of Michael flashed across the screen behind her.
