Adorable Philadelphia Weatherman Adam Joseph Comes Out Through Baby Announcement

Adam Joseph, a meteorologist for ABC 6 in Philadelphia, pulled off a real twofer this week—coming out as gay and announcing the birth of a bouncing baby boy in a single Facebook post.

Adam and Karl, his partner of five years, welcomed Jacob shortly before 2am on Tuesday. "Tears instantly flowed when I first saw his face, even before he was placed in my arms," the hunky weatherman told Philadelphia Daily News. My dream of being a dad has become reality and so much more!"

Was he hesitant to come out to viewers?

"Maybe for one split second and then it passed," he said. "This is unconditional love and hope. I truly wish that every person wanting a family can feel this overwhelming happiness and joy."

Adam and Karl have more than a dozen nieces and nephews between them, and were both ready to start a family of their own. "This is not an easy journey to go on, both emotionally and financially, [but] Karl is the perfect partner and we've built an amazing foundation together to be able to start our family."
