Al Pacino Really Likes Oscar Wilde in New Wilde Salome Trailer

Al Pacino Gone Wilde

The new film, Wilde Salome, was made by Al Pacino in 2006. At that time, he was appearing as King Herod in a production of Oscar Wilde’s Salome, and decided to make a film version of the production. (kind of like those Into The Woods and Sweeney Todd movies I know you own)

Then, Pacino took it one step further and made a movie about him trying to make a movie of this play. Get lost in the levels! The trailer that was finally released today makes it look like this final film exists somewhere between A Man of No Importance and an extended DVD extra.

Should be an interesting diversion before Pacino goes full on Phil Spector.
