Altruistic “All Stars”: Alaska And Detox Donate That $10,000 To LGBT Charity

This season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars has had us all gagging, but two queens are turning the drama into something positive.

Last week on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Alaska offered $10,000 if she she didn’t get sent home by whomever won the Lip Synch for Your Legacy challenge. (Before taxes!)

Cut to Tuesday, when she and Detox, who won that lip sync, announce they’re taking the $10,000 and donating it to TransKids Purple Rainbow Foundation, a nonprofit that advocates for transgender and nonconforming youth.

It takes a big woman to put her money where her bee-stung lips are. TWO big women, actually!

Below, Alaska make fun of her “snake-y” reputation with a tongue-in-cheek video.
