Alaska’s Idea Of A Halloween Prank Is Absolutely Disgusting (And We Love It)

"When Halloween comes around I like to really f*ck with people."

It’s spooky season, Drag Race All Stars 2 winner Alaska is here for it.

VH1

She’s one of 10 reality stars dared to stay in a haunted mansion for a chance to win $100,000 on VH1’s eerie new reality series Scared Famous.

Do you believe in ghosts?

I believe in aliens. I don’t know about ghosts—I mean I guess we could all be ghosts. It could be life is just the 10 seconds of brain activity after we die, but our brain is still alive. That could feasibly be our whole life.

So you’ve never had a paranormal experience?

I don’t think so…

Do you like Halloween? Because a lot of drag queens don’t.

I love Halloween! I mean drag queens do live in it. On Halloween you’re getting dressed up in elaborate costumery and parading about, asking people for candy. We do that all year long.

When Halloween comes around I like to really fuck with people. I do, like, six costumes. I work throughout the season, so I think it’s fun.

Do you have a favorite Halloween tradition, like a haunted house or watch a scary movie?

I like to work! Halloween day this year I’m going to be on a plane going to Australia. Maybe I’ll get crazy and wear a little Halloween pin like teachers used to do, with little light up eyes or something.

What trick would you play on someone if they didn’t give you a treat?

I dunno, take a shit in their kitchen?

What advice would you give for someone trying to survive a horror movie?

Well, they say you can’t be too slutty and you can’t drink or do drugs. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens on Scared Famous.

Scared Famous premieres October 23 at 9/8c on VH1.

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was "just the cutest thing ever."
